Once again President Donald Trump is delivering on his promises. President Trump has been working around the clock and now he is negotiating a deal with Ukraine's President Zekenskyy to end the war with Russia. President Trump and VP J.D Vance stood firm during their meeting in the Oval Office with President Zelenskyy. The two Presidents have previously worked together on similar issues but the meeting didn't end as planned. Ending the war was President Trump's top priority. Trump stated "it's enough", "we want to get it over with". President Trump was confident that his deal would be beneficial for each country involved. Zelenskyy stated he will not compromise with a terrorist/killer referring to Vladimir Putin. President Zelenskyy stated the last deal that was previously made was not honored. The exchange of prisoners never happened and more killing continued, stated Zelenskyy. Zalenskyy also stated Russia has stolen an estimate of 20,000 Ukrainian children. The war has caused over 40,000 soldiers to lose their lives on both sides.
President Zalenskyy’s demeanor was nonchalant while seeming uninterested in the deal offered by President Trump. Things quickly went left during the meeting which led to the removal of President Zalenskyy from the White House. Vice President J.D Vance felt Zalenskyy was ungrateful while calling him out on attacking the Trump Administration. Zalenskyy subtly made a threat indicating that America may feel the impact of war in the future. President Trump warned Zelenskyy not to dictate what will happen, while advising Zalenskyy to take the deal offered. America has provided a substantial amount of funds and military equipment to Ukraine and its unfortunate that President Zelenskyy refused the deal. The war will continue with Russia but Ukraine is in no position to drag it out.
