Journalist Stephen A. Smith recently stated on "The Rubin Report" he was misinformed while feeling the pressure from his own community to vote for Kamala Harris. Stephen has spoken on several occasions on personally knowing President Donald Trump and stated during the interview he is not mad that President Trump won the election. Sounds Ludicrous because this is a guy who gets on national television everyday to inform people but yet claims he didn't have a clue of what was going on. Well reading between the lines, it seems as if Stephen was afraid of the backlash he would receive if he publicly supported President Trump. America has stripped the rights of its people to have the freedom to think for themselves. People were often bullied or talked about for not wanting to support Kamala Harris. Reporters like Joy Reid took to social media to call people “weird” for not voting for Kamala Harris. Its disgraceful to see grown adults who are considered senior citizens bullying others. Which is why we have to be careful who we validate as credible sources. Throughout the presidential campaign Stephen A. Smith spoke often about the election while also giving his opinions. Now that the election is over he publicly admitted not knowing a damn thing of what he was talking about. He himself misinformed millions of viewers. Stephen A. Smith clearly has shown us he is not a leader but simply a follower. This is a man who simply cannot be trusted. Stephen A. Smith has been pimped by the media. It's incredibly sad to see people of color at such a level in their career still not able to stand up for what is accurate nor have the freedom to make their own individual choices. Needless to say, it is imperative to find a news source that is not bias but will inform you on what is happening on both sides of the fence. 2024 we have shown celebrities that they are powerless. Real life events are happening in America. Life is not about having twerk concerts to gain a vote. So let's continue to stand firm as we push against being programmed by the media.
