Gusty Winds Leaves Several Trees On Top Of Cars

Sunday night was a night of strong gusty winds. Light rain and snow was expected but several city residents did not expect trees to plummet to the streets. There was no lightning or thundering which is why it was such a shock when several trees had fallen across the city of Philadelphia. One tree fell on top of a car with a woman inside leaving her deceased. Another car was crushed in the Wynnefield section of Philadelphia leaving a few cars totaled. A resident spoke with me stating she had just got out of the car before a tree came crashing down on her Dodge Charger. Nothing was left except busted windows, flat tires and a huge tree laying across the top of her vehicle.

The resident says city officials did not come out to attempt to inspect or remove the tree. It is now going on three days and she is feeling helpless at this point.
